Support Bambule35 💜
Bambule35 is a self-managed community space run on a volunteer basis by the nonprofit organization QueerOS e. V. This means that everything that happens here is made possible by people who contribute their time, energy, and skills. As a nonprofit organization, we are not profit-driven and are therefore constantly on the lookout for new funding opportunities. Since the cultural center was founded, we have been supported by a wide range of individuals, groups, and sponsors.
We are currently working to further develop, shape, and establish the center for events, workshops, and exchange. We want to continue securing the existing space—a “safe space” for queer art and queer life. It enables individuals and groups to work on projects, organize cultural events, and participate in them. To ensure the space remains viable in the long term and events can take place, we rely on the support of our community.
#1 Get Involved
The most important thing you can do is take action yourself!
You can get involved:
- in organizing events
- in the plenary session
- during the setup and takedown of events
- for counter, door, and awareness shifts
- in housekeeping or everyday tasks
You don't need any special skills or experience to do this.
You're not alone in tackling these tasks. Much of it is done together.
#2 Share Your Skills
Maybe you have skills or resources that could help us, such as:
- technical support
- technology/IT
- social media
- design/printing
- awareness/moderation
If you’re interested in skill-sharing or would like to contribute in a specific area, feel free to reach out or simply send us a message. Feel free to talk to us or just send a message.
#3 Donations
Ongoing costs (rent, utilities, materials, etc.) make this space possible only when people support our project financially. If you’re able to, we’d appreciate your donations.
Donations in kind can also help expand what our space offers. For example: tools, materials, furniture, technology, instruments, etc. If you’d like to donate something, please check with us first to see if we can use it.
#4 Supporting Membership
A particularly helpful form of support is a supporting membership. This allows us to plan for the long term, cover our running costs, and remain more independent in case funding is ever cut off.

Collaborations
Currently, our queer-feminist cultural center does not have any fixed or long-term partnerships. At the same time, Bambule35 is not an isolated space. B35 thrives on spontaneous, project-based collaborations with various groups, initiatives, and individuals.
In the past, this has already led to a wide variety of collaborations. This is exactly where we want to build upon and further advance the networking of our community. Our goal is to create new opportunities: for larger, more diverse formats and for even more joint projects with you. That is why we are constantly on the lookout for new partners to further strengthen the space as an open, solidarity-based place for exchange, culture, and resistance.
