Your space for discourse, art & resistance!

Since fall 2023, there has been a new colorful place in Osnabrück at Hannoversche Straße 35: Bambule35!

Based on queer-feminist and anti-fascist principles, a wide variety of projects and events have been taking place in our socio-cultural center ever since. From readings to punk concerts, from workshops to vernissages, from trash parties to craft afternoons – everything finds a place with us. And it's all completely voluntary and self-managed!

The space is organized by a small but diverse collective of people who want to create a space where marginalized people, especially queer individuals, can feel comfortable and connect with others. Decisions are discussed within the collective in a grassroots democratic manner and made jointly. (Would you like to become part of the collective? However, anyone can use the space to realize projects that fit our principles! Our doors are open to you!

Bambule35 wants to show that another world is possible. A world without consumerism, a world where people can come together and develop freely, a more inclusive and just world.

Bambule35 is an open space run on a voluntary basis by a diverse collective of artists, educators, craftspersons, and event organizers.

Community & Exchange

Our goal is to create a space where people from marginalized groups feel welcome and can connect – especially members of the queer community in Osnabrück.

Art & Culture

At Bambule35, we offer a counterculture to the consumer-oriented mainstream and promote critical thinking as well as creative self-expression.

Political Education

We see the space not just as a welcoming place, but as a platform for involvement and connection, joining forces to promote an inclusive and equitable society.

Bambule35

Since 2022, Bambule35 has existed as a queer-feminist cultural center, run on a voluntary basis by a diverse collective. The common goal is to create a place for culture, art, political education, encounters, and exchange.

We operate under the non-profit sponsoring association QueerOS e.V. and are therefore always looking for new supporters. Since the founding of the cultural center, we have been supported by numerous individuals, groups, and institutions.

Special thanks go to the AStA of Osnabrück University, the city of Osnabrück, the Zukunftspaket program, and Landesverband Soziokultur of Lower Saxony for their financial support so far.
